  • Material: Brass (modern reproduction)

  • Diameter: approx. 29 mm (1.14 in)

This is a modern replica medal, inspired by the Imperial Russian award of 1809 issued during the Russo-Swedish War (1808–1809).

The original medal was awarded to soldiers of General P.A. Shuvalov’s corps, who crossed the Torne River into Sweden in 1809. A total of 6,269 silver medals were minted for participants in this campaign, recognizing their endurance and service.

The design reflected the classical Imperial style of the early 19th century, symbolizing loyalty and valor in the northern campaigns of the Russian Empire.

⚠️ Note: This item is a reproduction for collectors, history enthusiasts, reenactors, and educational display purposes only. It is not an original early 19th-century medal.
