We also welcome rare-medal ideas from collectors around the world: if a strong reference submission becomes a piece we actually produce, the contributor receives one complimentary example — or one set when the project is produced as a set — as our thank-you.

Rare Medal Requests

Help us rediscover hard-to-find designs.

Some important medals and decorations are known only from museums, private collections, auction archives or old reference material. If there is a rare piece you would like collectors to have access to again, send us the best reference material you can gather.

If we produce it, you receive one as our gift. If your submission directly leads to a design that Tmedals chooses to develop and successfully produces, we will send you one complimentary piece — or one set where the project is produced as a set — in appreciation for your contribution.

For rare-medal submissions

What helps us evaluate a project?

The better the reference material, the more accurately we can judge whether a piece can be recreated.

  • Clear photographs: front, reverse and side views whenever possible.
  • Measurements: height, width, thickness, ribbon width and approximate weight.
  • Construction details: metal, enamel, plating, suspension, pin, clasp or ribbon arrangement.
  • Historical references: museum records, auction references, catalogues or books that help verify the design.
Submissions are reviewed individually. Production is not guaranteed and depends on reference quality, feasibility, demand, production cost and suitability for Tmedals. Please submit only reference material you are entitled to share. Modern reproductions are intended for collecting, display, education and historical study; they do not confer any official status or authority.

We assess feasibility, details, likely production method, quantity and approximate cost.

For approved projects, details are confirmed before tooling, sampling and production.

Inspection & delivery

Finished pieces are checked before shipping. Rare-project contributors receive their agreed complimentary example after successful production.
