Replica of the Russian medal “For the Subjugation of Chechnya and Daghestan”, created during the reign of Emperor Alexander II to mark the campaigns of the Caucasian War.

Design of the original medal:

• Obverse: Crowned cypher of Alexander II

• Reverse: Russian inscription “For the Subjugation of Chechnya and Daghestan in 1857, 1858, and 1859”

The original medal was awarded to participants of the Russian military campaigns in the North Caucasus during those years.
