Medal for the Khiva campaign, established on July 22, 1873, by Alexander 2. The medal was awarded to participants in the military campaign to the Khiva Khanate in 1873. On the front side of the medal in the center is the date 1873, along the circumference, there is an inscription FOR THE KHIVAN HIRE. On the reverse side is the monogram of Alexander 2. 14,950 medals were minted at the St. Petersburg Mint.
A fantastic part of military history not to be missed at this low listing price. It would be extremely hard to find a much better example than these medals, medals weight a bit.
