This is a modern replica medal, inspired by Imperial Russian decorations from the reign of Nicholas II (1894–1917), the last Emperor of Russia.
The original medals and badges of this era often bore the portrait or inscriptions of Nicholas II, whose official title was “Emperor and Autocrat of All Russia”. Such decorations represented loyalty and service during the final decades of the Russian Empire.
Nicholas II reigned from November 1, 1894, until his abdication during the February Revolution in 1917, marking the end of the Romanov dynasty’s rule.
