Medal for Turkish troops

Established in 1833, D=28 mm., silver medals, awarded to privates of the Turkish troops who were in the same camp (Gaukh-Ker-Iskelesi - "Sultan's pier") with the Russian landing detachment on the Bosphorus in 1833. 2265 copies were issued. Gold medals were awarded to generals and officers, a total of 168 gold medals were issued (including 8 decorated with diamonds for the highest ranks).
