«ЛИГА ОБНОВЛЕНИЯ ФЛОТА» – “League for the Renewal of the Fleet.”
The reverse shows the monument to the sunken ships at Sevastopol with a line of warships, symbolising the rebuilding of the Russian Navy after the Russo-Japanese War.
This medal was originally issued by a patriotic society that raised funds to modernise the Imperial Russian fleet in the early 20th century.
