Russian Empire. Award bronze medal "For taking the storm of Geok-Tepe on January 12, 1881." It was established on February 19, 1881. The medals were silver and light bronze. The light bronze medal was awarded to all those who took part in the expeditions of 1879 and 1880 in the Zakaspian region, but did not participate in the assault of Geok Tepe itself.
