A finely made full-size solid copper replica of the Republic of China Order of the Golden Grain, 6th Class, also known as the Jiahe Medal / 嘉禾勋章.
The Order of the Golden Grain was established in 1912, during the early years of the Republic of China. It was one of the important national orders of the Beiyang Government period and was awarded for distinguished service to the state, as well as notable achievements in public affairs, scholarship, and national development.
The design features the traditional golden grain motif, a symbol of prosperity, merit, and national achievement. The front shows a white enamel-style starburst with a central grain design, surrounded by a blue ring decorated with multicolored details. The reverse has a rich red enamel-style center with the Chinese characters 嘉禾勋章.
