China Republic 1912 Order of Golden Grain 8th Class Medal Replica

The Order of the Golden Grain was established in 1912, during the early years of the Republic of China. It was one of the principal national decorations of the Beiyang Government period and was awarded for distinguished service to the state, as well as notable achievements in public affairs, scholarship, and national development.

The design features the traditional golden grain motif, symbolizing prosperity, merit, and achievement. This 8th Class version features a bright star-shaped badge with a central grain emblem, surrounded by multicolored detailing. The reverse bears a red center with the Chinese characters 嘉禾勋章. It is suspended from a white ribbon with red edge stripes, consistent with the style of the lower classes of the order.
