The Order of the Hero of Socialist Labour
The Order of the Hero of socialist labour was founded on 8 December 1948 in resemblance to the Soviet title of Hero of Socialist Labour. The order was awarded by the President of Yugoslavia.
Order of the Hero of Socialist Labour (Serbo-Croatian: Orden junaka socijalističkog rada, Slovene: Red junaka socialističnega dela, Macedonian: Орден на јунак на социјалистичката работа) was the fourth highest state decoration awarded in Yugoslavia. It was awarded to the citizens, companies and sports teams for the outstanding achievements in their professional work. The order was awarded a total of 114 times until 1986. After the dissolution of SFR Yugoslavia, awarding of the Order was discontinued.
Along with the order, the recipient was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labour (Serbo-Croatian: Junak socjalističkog rada, Slovene: Junak socialističnega dela, Macedonian: Jунак на социјалистичката работа).
A fantastic part of military Order history is not to be missed at this low listing price. It would be extremely hard to find a much better example than this Order, in great condition.
