1906. Red Cross Medal in Memory of the Russo-Japanese War. Silver, D=24 mm. Awarded to persons of both sexes - members and employees of the Russian Red Cross Society: Main, district and local committees and communities, warehouse workers, chief commissioners, commissioners, agents, doctors, pharmacists, paramedics, nurses, students, orderlies, artel workers, hospital servants and other persons who worked in hospitals, trains, dressing and sanitary points of the society, as well as persons who donated money or things to the society during the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-1905. By the decree of Emperor Nicholas II of March 27, 1907, the right to award the medal was extended to all officer and class ranks and other persons who served in the military department, but not for donations.
