Medal of the Caucasus in 1871 - state. award of the Russian Empire. Established by decree of Emperor Alexander II of September 29, 1871. After the end of the Caucasian War, the Emperor made a trip to the peaceful regions. All local residents who accompanied Alexander 2 on the trip were awarded the Caucasus 1871 medal. The medal should be worn on the chest on the Vladimir ribbon. Medals were minted in gold, silver and copper.

A fantastic part of military history not to be missed at this low listing price. It would be extremely hard to find a much better example than these medals, medals weight a bit.
