  • Material: Brass (modern reproduction)

  • Diameter: approx. 39 mm (1.53 in)

This is a modern replica medal, inspired by the Imperial Russian naval reward medal commemorating the capture of Ochakov in June 1788 during the Russo-Turkish War.

  • Obverse: Bust of Empress Catherine II (Catherine the Great) wearing a laurel wreath and coronet, with Russian inscription meaning “By the Grace of God, Catherine II, Empress and Autocrat of All the Russias.”
