In honor of 200 years of the 65th Moscow Infantry Regiment, one of the oldest regiments of the Russian Imperial Army. The regiment was formed in Moscow in 1700 by General Golovin. The regiment received its baptism of fire on November 19, 1700 near Narva. In 1900, for the celebration of the anniversary, the regiment received a new St. George banner.
